# User Guide

## Quick Start

1. Configure brand settings.
2. Review templates.
3. Preview the email design.
4. Send a test email.
5. Set privacy and retention preferences.
6. Export a backup.

## Configure Your Brand

Open **BrandMail Pro > Branding** and add your brand name, tagline, colors, logo URL, sender details, support email, footer text, privacy policy link, and terms link.

## Edit Templates

Open **BrandMail Pro > Templates**. Select a template, adjust the subject, headline, intro, body, and buttons, then save. Merge tags such as `{{company_name}}`, `{{request_id}}`, and `{{dashboard_url}}` are replaced when an email is rendered.

## Preview and Test

Open **BrandMail Pro > Preview**, choose a template, inspect the rendered email and plain-text fallback, then send a test email to yourself. If sending fails, confirm that WordPress mail is configured.

## Logs and Privacy

Open **BrandMail Pro > Logs** to review recent delivery attempts. By default, BrandMail Pro does not store full email bodies in logs.

Open **BrandMail Pro > Import / Export** to set log retention days, enable or disable body logging, and choose uninstall behavior.

## Back Up Settings

Open **BrandMail Pro > Import / Export** to download or restore settings. Keep a fresh export before making major template edits.
